A letter from our Managing Partner

Dear Prospective Colleague:

As you begin to look for your first professional opportunity, you will find that firms vary in many important respects, including size, diversity of practice, training, level of responsibility and pro bono opportunities. At Edwards Angell Palmer & Dodge LLP, our summer classes are small and select. Our summer associates perform challenging work for our most important clients, while at the same time building relationships with colleagues. The size of our summer class allows us to customize the program to meet the individual interests of each summer associate and provide extensive opportunities for training and feedback. We also offer pro bono opportunities that give summer associates the chance to move beyond traditional research assignments. And, we pride ourselves on our commitment to diversity of all kinds and foster a work environment that is supportive and inclusive.

The goal of our summer program is to provide summer associates with a meaningful work experience so that by the end of the summer they know the professional rewards of being an associate at Edwards Angell Palmer & Dodge.

We think our summer program is unique and exciting, but don’t just take our word for it. We invite you to visit the Testimonials and A Day in the Life of a Summer Associate pages of this web site for comments from our 2007 summer associate class.

We look forward to exploring the possibility of your joining our team.

Walter Reed,
Managing Partner
